“Simba And Mufasa The Hungry Brothers From Ethiopia.” I'm going to tell you a story about a boy named Simba from Ethiopia. Simba has a little brother Mufasa and a family that he cares about very much. Simba is the smartest child in his family so he decided that one day he would save up some money, and go to the US to try to get a degree from a University. He thinks that way he could get a better job and then make more money to provide for all the people in his village. Simba gets accepted to College and after a month he failed his accounting course. He was forced to drop out of school and return home. Simba was sad because all his hopes for saving his village were gone and he had to return to Ethiopia a failure to his people. He had to go home and see how skinny and hungry they all are. The next day Simba wakes up early and steps outside to see the morning sun on the horizon. He looks around and sees that there is food everywhere on the ground. He asked his neighbor where it came from and his neighbor said, "Big plane fly in from sky like big bird, Big plane drop food everywhere." Simba goes into the tent and wakes everyone up. They all go outside and start tearing through the bags of food that were dropped from airplanes the night before. Eventually the village becomes healthy and Simba and his brother are running around playing kick the cantaloupe! They're running around jumping and singing in the streets and everyone is happy. Eventually when Simba and his brother Mufasa return to their full strength once they are free to eat again. They build a house for their family and one for the rest of the village too. If I make a donation to a world hunger foundation at least some hungry kid in Ethiopia might have the chance to taste lemon mirange pie, strawberry shortcake, Hawaiian delight pizza, sizzling steak, tender smoked chicken, fish from the sea, ice cream, pb and j, meatballs with spaghetti, chicken parms, wonton noodle soup, peking dumpling, spicy fajitas, tacos, turkey with hot gravy and mashed potatoes, apples, oranges, grapes, kiwi's, watermelons, matzah ball soup, milk and honey. |
